    This was inspired by the thread regarding having a domination fantasy started in the discussions forum, and it was Dizzy Goon who happened to mention that a big TV favourite of his was of course The New Avengers starring Joanna Lumley as the sophisticated, frightfully well spoken, high class, and high kicking purdy=D.

    So with that in mind i thought id highlight just what D.G was talking about and give those who never watched this program a chance to see for themselves why Purdy produced such army of adoring fans, both young and old, but all with the same intention, witch was to watch in fascination and admiration at the unique style purdy produced in dispersion any of her foe.
    What made this program even more special was that during the seventies when this was made (1976 to be precise) it was a very rare sight indeed to watch a female kick butt on telly as in those days women were often considered the much weaker sex and not really capable of performing such feats….............................but how wrong they were.

    Rather than post each clip separately it was easier to make three looooooooong edits showing the entire lot from both series
    Included everything from general high kicks and punches to strength scenes plus one were she gets chloroformed.

    come to think of it Patrick Macnee must of had the best job in the world making all those Avenger programs and watching the likes of Honour Blackman Diana Rigg and Joanna Lumley kicking ass plus getting paid for the privilege aint a bad way to earn a living, the lucky sod….............its almost as good a job as the one kandyman has. :cool: :P

    … And even after The Avengers, Macnee was a regular guest star in the "Spy Game" series, so he could witness first hand gorgeous Allison Smith kicking some serious butt!

    I agree, he's truly a man to envy. :)

    and yes indeed purdey + peel are truly great role models for the other Kandy girls to follow.

    Both were Hot and Sexy kickass babes in their day plus suave and sophisticated at the same time.

    and glad you enjoyed these classics amongst classics.

    Your spot on regarding the confidence purdey always gave out and that made her character so much more enjoyable to watch and i was only 8 at the time this was shown on telly but still remember very well how fascinated i was seeing purdy beat the crap out of so many, with such ease.
    Gareth Hunt was a pain in the arse sometimes as his role was one that often acted very protectively towards purdey and step in and take over, which spoilt it sometimes, but Patrick Macnee seemed to enjoy watching her dish out the beatings as much as we do and would just stand there with his umbrella and admire her extraordinary fighting skills. :P
